The tournament — open to faculty, staff, students, alumni and family — will be Friday, Oct. 4, and the first game will start at 6 p.m. If you are planning to play and have not registered at brenau.edu/spirit-week, please do so before Friday or email Ashley Carter at ude.uanerb@3retraca to let her know you plan to play. Please note, you will need a glove. If you have a bat, bring it to the game!
Family members are eligible to play, and friends and family are welcome. Food will be provided by Bunch’s Burgers, and wristbands will be available for $10 (age 21+) for drinks from Downtown Drafts. We hope you will join us!
The Alumni & Friends Reception with President Anne Skleder will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Lockett-Mitchell Parlour.
Join us on the historic Gainesville campus for a chance to meet and get to know our 10th president. You will be able to share what drew you to Brenau in the first place and why you still love it today.
Tickets are on sale now for Brenau Alumni Sunday with the Atlanta Braves Aug. 18. Game time is 1:20 p.m. The cost is $50 per person (no matter what age) and includes game admission and access to the Hank Aaron Terrace with all you can eat through the fifth inning. There is also air conditioned and outdoor seating. Tickets will be mailed to your home address.

Brenau will dedicate a new bronze by Jean Westmacott, “Terpsikhore,” in the lobby of the Burd Center at 12:30 p.m., Friday, April 12.
The work was commissioned by Barbara Stockton Perry, class of ’47, and Leeda Stockton Currin, class of ’60, as a way to express their shared passion for Brenau and art. Perry, a former trustee who passed away in early 2016, worked to complete the commissioning of this work with Currin even as she battled terminal cancer.
“Terpsikhore” is named for one of the nine muses in Greek mythology, specifically the Muse of choral song and dancing. Westmacott’s bronze figure depicts a dancer leaning back in mid dance and will be placed on the landing of the stairs entering the bottom floor of Hosch Auditorium.
Any faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this event.
Please join us for any of the reunion activities throughout the weekend, but the Alumni Office would especially love for you to join us at the traditional Champagne Brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, and stay for the May Day celebration which begins at 1 p.m. Please wear your gold Brenau name badge for free admission.
If you are an alumna and want to receive a gift bag and join us for other events, please register at brenau.edu/alum/arw where you can also find the full schedule of events.
