Start by getting in the spooky spirit on Tuesday, Oct. 22, with Halloween trivia in the dining hall from noon-1 p.m. Then Halloween week officially kicks off with pink pumpkin painting in honor of breast cancer awareness on Monday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Tea Room porch.
Pumpkins will be judged during the Halloween Festival, which will be held at sorority circle from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. A food truck will be selling fajitas and hot dogs starting at 11:30 a.m., so you can have lunch before the costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for costumes in categories such as scariest, best makeup, best group and funniest.
After the costume contest, it is time to channel your inner superstar for the lip sync battle! Participants can fly solo or sing as a group and winners will be chosen by applause. Interested in participating in the lip sync or costume contest? Fill out the sign-up sheet here. We hope to see you there!
