Greene has given the university over 35 years of his time and talents. He has been an indispensable colleague across all of his years of service to the university and has taught across the curriculum in the department, including multiple levels of chemistry, mathematics and physical science including physics.
His pedagogical approaches focus on critical thinking and problem solving development rather than rote memorization. This approach has both challenged and transformed the many students he has taught over the last 35 years. His winning smile and playful sense of humor have delighted students and flummoxed colleagues for decades. He has remained, throughout his tenure at Brenau, a warm, supportive and kind colleague that we will dearly miss.
We know that his retirement years will be spent surrounded by his family, children and grandchildren along with his ever-present garden.
