Erica Dawson Poetry Reading Feb. 8

Please join us for a poetry reading by Erica Dawson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8 at  in the Quiet Zone of the Trustee Library. A Q&A session will precede the reading at 12:30.

Erica Dawson is the author of two collections of poetry: The Small Blades Hurt, winner of the 2016 Poets’ Prize, and Big-Eyed Afraid, winner of the 2006 Anthony Hecht Prize. Her work has appeared in three editions of Best American Poetry, as well as Bennington Review, Harvard Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, and many other journals and anthologies. She is director of University of Tampa’s Low-Residency MFA program, and an associate professor in the Department of English and Writing.
