Research Symposium Now Accepting Abstract Submissions

The Spring Research Symposium will be held in Brenau’s Downtown Center on Friday, April 6, and we are looking for outstanding projects to showcase from both students and faculty. Proposals for both individual and group presentations and projects, as well as full panels, will be considered. The Research Symposium Committee will accept abstract submissions until Friday, Feb. 9.

The theme of this year’s Research Symposium is “Quality: A Quest for Truth and a Basis for Action” and serves as the foundation for this year’s round table discussion “Searching for Truth in the Presence of Bias and in a World of Misinformation.” Abstracts for all research topics will be accepted and considered.

Abstracts should be no more than 250 words. The submission forms are available on Brenau’s Research Symposium webpage at intranet.brenau.edu/institutional-review-board/research-symposium.

Submission is open to all Brenau students and faculty, however, we request that students submit their abstract proposals to their project faculty advisor for approval (using the Word template at intranet.brenau.edu/download/2018-research-symposium-abstract-submission-form) and that the the faculty advisors submit the final abstract via the Formstack Submission Form at brenau.formstack.com/forms/annual_symposium_research_form.

All Abstract submissions must be received by Feb. 9 to be considered for the Spring Symposium.
