Brenau’s Spectrum Winds New Music Ensemble is truly a post-modern ensemble for rhythm section, woodwinds and brass with repertoire that blends the styles of traditional classical, jazz, modern, popular and original music into a single expression reflecting the eclectic soundscape of today’s world.
Spectrum Winds is open to all students on campus, Brenau faculty/ employees, and to experienced adults in the Gainesville-Hall County community. We are recruiting members for all instrument sections including piano, bass, guitar and drums. Ability to read music or a desire to learn to read music is preferred.
If you or anyone you know would like to participate in Spectrum Winds, contact Dr. Sterrs-Howard at ude.uanerb@drawoh-srretst.
Around July 5, a momma cat climbed under our wood pile and gave birth to six of the cutest kittens you have ever seen. She later moved them into a corner in our garage and made her nursery there. We have been helping her take care of them ever since.
It is now time someone to adopt these loving companions. Help us make a new home for them! They are all different colors: black, grey, yellow, multi. If you (or someone you know) are interested in giving one of these cute kittens a loving home (no fees involved), then contact Dr. Bill Haney at ext. 4703 or via email: ude.uanerb@yenahw.
