On Jan. 26-27 the Office of Admissions will host their annual Winter Weekend event. This is a wonderful opportunity for local and out of state high school seniors to come and spend the night here on our historic campus with current Brenau students.
Through spending the night in our sorority houses, attending academic showcases, watching “Brenau’s Got Talent” and having a blast at our after party, these prospective students are able to get an incredible experience of what life is like at Brenau.
Again, this event is for high school seniors that are thinking about making Brenau University their future home. We encourage any faculty and staff to spread the word to family and friends. On Sunday, Dec. 2, the Office of Admissions will host their second annual Holiday Open House. This event will take place in Wheeler House, with many members from our faculty and staff participating. Holiday Open House is an event that is much more personal and less formal that your typical open house. It will be a brief two hours from 2- 4 p.m., but it will be filled with opportunities to discuss our academic majors with faculty and staff, learn more about financial aid through one on one meetings, and enjoy a campus tour!

We received great feedback from this event last year, so we hope to have many more wonderful conversations with students and their families this Sunday! On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Brenau University Office of Admissions will host their annual Counselor Workshop for local area high school counselors and graduation coaches.
With high school counselors acting as the gate keepers in many way for our prospective students, it is crucial to make an effort in recruiting them as well. Through campus tours, student panels and academic information sessions, these counselors will leave campus with an excellent picture of the benefits of attending Brenau University!

The Office of Admissions along with the Ivester College of Health Sciences will be partnering together this Friday, Oct. 5, to host the first annual “Health Professions Day.”
This event will be for all Hall County high schools and will consist of juniors and seniors interested in our health science programs. We will have sessions revolving around nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, exercise science, psychology, etc. This event will mostly be held in the Brenau Downtown Center, but the students will be coming to the historic campus for lunch and a tour. If you see these students walking around campus, be sure to wave and give a friendly Brenau “Hello!”

The Office of Admissions is getting ready to host their first campus event for the year, Fall Open House on Sept. 15, 2018. This event is for prospective Brenau students, including both high school and transfer students. The event mainly focuses on attracting high school seniors.
Fall Open House is an opportunity for students and their families to come and learn more about their academic interests, talk to financial aid representatives, sit through a student panel and enjoy a campus tour!
