Help Send Our Physical Therapy Students to Moultrie Farm

Brenau University’s Department of Physical Therapy has been accepted to be a part of a medical service trip for the week of June 24-29 of this year. The program is a multi-disciplinary trip to provide much needed medical services to migrant farm workers and their families in the Moultrie, Georgia area.

Twelve doctoral students will be going as part of a physical therapy team and will be joined by students from other universities in other disciplines such as nursing, dental hygiene and pharmacy. All the teams are supervised by qualified faculty.

The student team is soliciting donations to help defray the cost of the trip and are asking you to consider donating to this effort. All donations will go directly to defraying student costs such as lodging, meals and transportation. We are looking to raise $3500 and are about half-way there.

Please strongly consider supporting our team in this endeavor. All donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

If you would like to donate please follow these steps:

  1. Visit forevergold.brenau.edu/form/.
  2. Fill out the Donation Information form.
  3. Under the ‘Apply my donation to’ drop-down menu, select the last option titled ‘other designation (please specify in Additional Notes below).
  4. In ‘Additional Notes for Gift,’ type PT SERVICE TRIP.

This will specify that your donation will be used for our trip.

Thank you!
