Lunch and Learn Thursday, March 28

Our last professional development Lunch and Learn session of this academic year is Gender in the Classroom: Continuing the Conversation,  led by our own Dr. Heather Hollimon, at 12:30 p.m. this Thursday, March 28, in the library or via Zoom.

We currently have five open seats remaining. The first five people to RSVP will get those seats/lunches. Once those seats are full, Zoom will be the only available option.

Those who RSVP will receive an email from Amy Goetz confirming their place, or they will receive the Zoom link if all seats are full.

This workshop continues the discussion begun in February by Dr. Cynthia Alby. We will work on the fourth component of her handout titled The Learning Environment and compose a list of activities/guidelines for creating an effective “contested space” in our classrooms. In preparation of the launch of The Women’s College, we will also discuss meaningful and innovative ways to meet the criteria of W courses.

Attendees need not have attended the February session to join us on March 28.

Join via Zoom at https://brenau.zoom.us/j/110086074.
