March is National Nutrition Month. Join Brenau’s Wellness Committee, along with Brenau Garden Club (BUGS) for a presentation called “Eggs in the Garden,” which emphasizes the importance of good nutrition. This event will be held at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 in front of Hopkins Dining Hall.
Presentation will include:
- Foods that Help: Eggs for Protein and Fruits and Vegetables for Nutritional Support.
- Demo of Planting Tomatoes in Eggshells for Calcium by student Aisa Goforth.
- Composting and Mulching for Healthier Plants by student and club president, Hannah Rucks-Zaoui.
- Small samples of egg frittata with BUGS Garden Vegetables, prepared by Annette Hinton, a BUGS master gardener advisor and registered dietitian and certified executive chef.
Employees who participate will be awarded with one wellness activity point.
