Brenau Wins Two CASE District III Awards

Brenau University took home two awards at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III annual conference awards ceremony Tuesday, Feb. 26 at The Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel in Atlanta.

The awards competition, which included entries from more than 100 public and private higher education institutions from across the Southeast, coincided with the four-day CASE District III annual conference Feb. 24-27.

The Special Merit Award-winning entries, both from the Office of Marketing and Communications, included longtime and now-retired Brenau professor Jim Southerland’s memoir “Sharecropper’s Son” in the category for Multipage Publication and the cover of the Fall 2017 “Brenau in Government” issue of Brenau Window magazine in the category for Best Cover Illustration.

Congratulations to everyone who put in the time, effort and talent to make it possible to win these awards.
