Cynthia Alby, professor of teacher education at Georgia College’s John H. Lounsbury College of Education, will provide an introduction to the implications of gender in higher education instruction in the Lunch & Learn from 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in Library 116,
Alby is lead instructor for the Georgia Governor’s Teaching Fellows Program and an expert in the scholarship of teaching and learning. In this workshop, Alby will present content about pedagogy informed by gender awareness, a topic especially relevant to our relaunching of The Women’s College. Faculty will engage in conversations and exercises designed to employ consideration of gender for positive impact in the classroom.
Zoom attendance will also be available, but you must register for the event to receive your Continuing Professional Education one clock hour and toward the FLDOE-required training.
