The faculty and staff ghost walk around the Gainesville historic campus focuses on some of Brenau’s most famous – and infamous – fables, folk tales and amazingly true stories. Among other tidbits, tour goers will learn which Brenau president literally rolled up his shirtsleeves to build Yonah Hall’s top floor, why Lessie Southgate Simmons has special significance for the university, and of course, precisely who was (or still is?) Brenau’s purported poltergeist Agnes?
The walk will be led by Kathy Amos, executive director of Brenau’s Center for Lifetime Study, will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, and is expected to last one hour.
To participate in the inaugural tour, please contact Kelley Maddox at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a spot.
Employees will earn one Activity Point for participation.
