Faculty and staff ghost walk set for Oct. 30

The ghost walk around the Gainesville historic campus focuses on some of Brenau’s most famous – and infamous – fables, folk tales and amazingly true stories. Among other tidbits, tourists will learn which Brenau president literally rolled up his shirtsleeves to build Yonah Hall’s top floor, why Lessie Southgate Simmons has special significance for the university, and of course, precisely who was (or still is?) Brenau’s purported poltergeist Agnes?

The walk will be led by Kathy Amos, executive director of Brenau’s Center for Lifetime Study and will begin at 4 p.m. (expected to last 1 hour) on Oct. 30.

To participate in the inaugural tour, please contact Kelly Maddox at kmaddox@brenau.edu to reserve a spot.

Employees will earn one Activity Point for participation.
