Size North America is holding a nationwide survey to get a better look at body measurements on citizens all across North America, and you can be a part of it! From Monday, March 12, to Friday, March 23, the Art & Design department is hosting a Size World scan event at Brenau University.
The purpose of the survey is to help industries make products that better reflect the varying and body shapes and sizes today. It uses new 3D technology housed in its mobile Size World bus, which will be on the Brenau campus outside the Trustee Library, 625 Academy St.
Tuesday, March 13, the bus will be open to the Brenau community for tours. Anyone interested in learning more and seeing the equipment is welcome to stop by, no appointment needed.
Over the next two weeks, all are welcome to get their bodies scanned by the new technology. Size World will be at Brenau between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily to scan people ages 6-75. They are specifically looking for students to assist in surveying the body image of the millennials in the interest of creating the best fit possible for companies all over the nation.
