Blackstock oversees the distribution of food and product received from the Atlanta Community Food Bank, local donations and food drives. Since beginning operations, the Georgia Mountain Food Bank (GMFB) has processed over 35 million pounds of food to agencies in Hall, Lumpkin, Dawson, Forsyth and Union counties. In addition, Kay is actively involved in agency/community/programs relations and development within the five counties served by GMFB.
Today, the GMFB distributes an average 200,000 pounds of food each month and reaches around 30,000 people monthly through the partner agency network, community partnerships and programs.
