Heart Smart Dining Day, Feb. 23

February is American Heart Health Month! Brenau’s Wellness Team and Brenau Dining are teaming up to bring you Heart Smart Dining Day.

Eating a heart-healthy diet is important for managing your blood pressure and reducing your risk of heart attack, stroke and other health threats. Come join us in Hopkins Dining Hall on Friday, Feb. 23, at noon for a demonstration of how to prepare healthy meals and sample heart healthy foods.

Faculty and staff receive a discount lunch rate of $5.

Brenau is also trying to put together a Brenau cookbook. Be one of the first 50 to bring a copy of a recipe with you to this event and you will receive a free Healthy Eating Recipe Book.

Employees who participate will receive one Activity Point toward the Wellness Participation Program which awards a cash prize at the end of the year.
