February is American Heart Health Month, and Brenau’s Wellness Team and Brenau Dining are teaming up to bring you Heart Smart Dining Day on Friday, Feb. 23.
Eating a heart-healthy diet is important for managing your blood pressure and reducing your risk of heart attack, stroke and other health threats. Come join us in Hopkins Dining Hall on Friday, Feb. 16, at noon for a demonstration of how to prepare healthy meals and sample heart healthy foods.
The faculty and staff discount lunch rate is $5. We are also trying to put together our own Brenau Cookbook! Be one of the first 50 to bring a copy of a recipe with you to this event and you will receive a free Healthy Eating Recipe Book!
Employees who participate will receive one Activity Point toward the Wellness Participation Program with a cash prize at the end of the year.
