Planning an Event this Semester?

With the new year comes a calendar of new events. Make sure your event is a stress-free success! See the information below to streamline your event planning at Brenau.

Booking Internal Brenau Events

Internal bookings which require staffing, room set-ups, catering and/or additional AV equipment must be requested through the Events Services Department a minimum of three weeks in advance.

Internal class/conference room reservations (with the exception of Downtown Center and performance venues) are to be scheduled through the designated office manager in the building where the event will take place. Security must be notified by the office manager of events in their buildings.

For internal room reservations at the Downtown Center, contact Event Services at 770-534-8420. For internal room reservations in performance venues contact Multi-Media and Theater Services at 770-534-6751.

For all internal events which will require security, staffing, catering, AV or set-up, contact the Department of Event Services at 770-534-8420.

Checklist for academic entities booking internal events in buildings other than the Downtown Center or performance venues:

● Reserve room through appropriate office manager
● Notify security, regardless of event size
● Contact ARAMARK catering/Dining Services
● Submit a work order to Multimedia Services for AV needs
● Submit a work order to Housekeeping
● Contact Event Services at 770-534-8420 to submit a work order to Facilities for set-up and breakdown

Brenau Students Booking Events

All students wishing to book space for events must first gain approval from the assistant director of student life who will contact Event Services to reserve the space. The student or student organization is responsible for payment of any fees involved in the reservation including any damages or loss of university property during or after the event.

Booking External, or non-Brenau, Events

External bookings must be requested a minimum of six weeks in advance. Room reservations for all external bookings are to be scheduled through the Department of Event Services at 770-534-8420. Reservation inquiries may be submitted through www.brenau.edu/about/eventservices. The Department of Event Services will arrange personnel, security, housekeeping, set-up and AV needs and advise the client of attendant costs for these services prior to the creation of the contract. The external group booking the event is responsible for contacting Brenau Catering at 770-538-4600, and arranging for catering service if food is to be provided at the event.
