Julie Battle Speaking at Domestic Violence Breakfast & Briefing

Julie Battle, chair of Brenau University’s psychology department, will be part of a panel discussion at the 13th Annual Domestic Violence Breakfast & Briefing at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3.

The event is presented each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month by the Hall County Task Force Against Domestic Violence.

The breakfast will feature a keynote address from domestic violence survivor April Ross. Ross will share her powerful story and present the “Domestic Violence Officer of the Year.” The panel discussion will immediately following the program to include Battle, Ross, Gateway Domestic Violence Center Executive Director Jessica Butler, Hall County Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard, and Georgia Commission on Family Violence Executive Director Jennifer Thomas.

The event will be held in the Brenau Downtown Center theater, 301 Main St. NW in Gainesville.
