Hall County Library announces 2017 Summer Reading Program for Adults

“Build a Better World!” is the theme for Hall County Library System’s 2017 Summer Reading Program for Adults. The program is open to those 18 and older and runs through July 22.

Participants can read a new book, discover a new technology, get to know services offered in the community, learn to relax with Zen activities, meet people in a library bingo group, take part in a community effort to put together a 3D puzzle and much more. Whether it is self-discovery or giving back to the community, there is something for everybody.

Visit a local library branch to pick up an activity log trifold. If you record three activities per sheet and return up to eight completed logs to your nearby library branch, you could be eligible  to win a cash prize. All eight sheets must be completed and returned by 4 p.m. July 22.

First prize: a $75 gift card
Second prize: a $50 gift card
Third prize: a $25 gift card

Special Texas Roadhouse Drawing: $30 coupon for a dinner for two.

Be sure to include contact information on the activity long. Winners will be notified by their home branch after July 29.
