Dance Class Presents “EMERGENCE” on April 13

The Dance Department’s Composition I class will be showing its work “EMERGENCE” at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 13, in an informal setting at the Black Box Theater in Pearce Auditorium.

All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to come for an afternoon of varied choreographic styles that are juxtaposed with shared rhythms, contagious energy, unbridled emotion and delicate artistry. Some of the works’ themes revolve around Georgia O’Keefe’s paintings, yellow journalism and Andy Weir’s writing The Egg.

Afterward, please feel free to speak with the choreographers and dancers. The performance is free and open to the public.
