The Brenau University Department of Music will perform at the High Museum in Atlanta this Friday, April 7, as a part of the High’s First Friday program.
Soprano Shelby Cody, a senior music major from Mount Airy, Georgia, and baritone Bobby Reidling, a music education sophomore from Jefferson, Georgia, will sing the roles of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf from the Brenau Opera Workshop’s production of the classic fairy tale. The duet from Leo Delibes’ Lakme, known as “The Flower Duet,” will be performed by sisters Amber and Alyssa Stowers of Winder, Georgia. Amber is a senior music major at Brenau, and Alyssa is a sophomore music education major.
Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. and will end at 9 p.m. when the museum closes. The Brenau University Department of Music will perform at about 6:45 p.m., so please arrive early to support Brenau and wear your Brenau colors and clothing.
