The Gainesville Theatre Alliance will present a stage tour of its upcoming spring play “Peter and the Starcatcher” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, in the Ed Cabell Theatre at the University of North Georgia. The stage tour is free and open to the public.
“Peter and the Starcatcher” will run April 11-22 in the Ed Cabell Theatre. Join us on a quest to answer the question: How did Peter become the boy who never grew up?
“Peter and the Starcatcher,” the prequel to “Peter Pan,” takes a hilarious romp through the Neverland you never knew. In this Tony Award-winning play with music, a dozen actors play more than 100 characters using ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination. The play is based on the similarly named novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson and adapted for the stage by Rick Elise. Rated PG-13.
Brenau faculty, staff and students with a valid ID may purchase $5 tickets to GTA performances for themselves and their household. Some performance nights are also free for Brenau faculty, staff and students. Brenau faculty, staff and student tickets may be purchased by calling the box office two weeks before opening night of the performance.
General ticket prices for performances are as follows: adults $18-20; seniors $16-18; $12-14 depending on seat locations.
