Track & Field Athlete Sydney Romine Competes in NAIA Indoor Championships This Week

Brenau University’s Sydney Romine will be the first Golden Tigers athlete to compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Indoor National Championships Thursday through Saturday, March 2-4, when she runs the the 60-meter hurdles in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Romine, a freshman at Brenau from Jasper, Georgia, competes on both the indoor and outdoor teams. In the outdoor sport she is an accomplished heptathlete. She qualified for the indoor championship meet with a time of 9.20 and spent the last two weeks concentrating on hurdles for her trip to Johnson City.
