Brenau University is offering summer study abroad opportunities to Women’s College students from July 8 to Aug. 6 at the University of Cambridge in England.
The Interdisciplinary Summer School has both two-week and four-week options during the time period. The program features a six-hour credit for the four-week program or three hours for the two-week program.
The courses are taught by Cambridge lecturers and instructors and are offered in English, history, art history, politics, film, anthropology, philosophy and more. Student transcripts will reflect Cambridge University as a place of study once the course is completed. They will reside in single rooms with private sitting rooms in a beautiful, historic college, and they will attend evening concerts, lectures and plays. Full English breakfasts and three-course dinners will be available seven days a week.
The program includes optional trips to London, Bath, Oxford, Stratford-on-Avon, the Globe Theatre and the Shakespeare Festival. Optional travel to Scotland, Ireland and continental Europe is also possible.
Applications, registration forms, study abroad forms and nonrefundable $1,000 deposits are due by Feb. 23. Please instruct students to contact Dean Debra Dobkins, ude.uanerb@snikbodd, with their questions.
