The race begins at 2 p.m. at 528 Prior Street, and will follow the Brenau Mile course. It is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier, and a fun run will follow at 3 p.m.
The Edmondson-Telford Center provides services to Hall and Dawson County residents under the age of 18 who are victims of sexual or severe physical abuse or neglect, as well as their non-offending family members. It offers an environment for crisis intervention and medical advocacy as the victim moves through the examination and investigation. It also work with other local agencies to support the victim through the court process. Heather Hayes, executive director of the center, is a Women’s College alumna.
