Stage Tour of ‘Godspell’ Tuesday, Jan. 31

mini-posterThe Gainesville Theatre Alliance offers a free, open-to-the-public stage tour of “Godspell” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Hosch Theatre in the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts.

A musical collaboration between award-winning Broadway and Disney composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz and fellow Carnegie Mellon grad John-Michael Tebelak, “Godspell” is part of GTA’s February Festival of Theatre to be performed Feb. 14-25, simultaneously with a production of William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” at the UNG-Gainesville Ed Cabell Theatre, 3820 Mundy Mill Road, Oakwood, GA 30566.

Tickets are $24-$26 for adults, $22-$24 for seniors and $14-$16 for students, depending on seat location and can be purchased at www.gainesvilletheatrealliance.org or by calling the GTA Box Office at 678-717-3624, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
