Possible Winter Weather Could Affect Saturday Commencement Planning

As Brenau prepares for its 2016 Winter Commencement ceremonies, the university is watching the weather forecasts for the weekend.

Currently, the ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17. Some forecasts show a small possibility of ice and freezing rain very early Saturday morning. In the case of an ice storm or other inclement weather, the commencement exercises would be canceled in the interest of the safety of graduates and guests traveling from across the region.

Make sure you are signed up for e2Campus notifications at https://www.e2campus.com/my/brenau/. Updates will be posted to https://www.brenau.edu and all social media channels.

Because the event is scheduled just before the year-end holidays, we will not reschedule. Graduates will receive diplomas and copies of the program by mail.
