Washington Monthly ranked Brenau University No. 19 in its highly regarded college guide list of “Best Bang for the Buck Southeast Colleges” for 2016.
Brenau was one of only five Georgia colleges in the top 20 alongside the Georgia Institute of Technology, Mercer University, Piedmont College and American InterContinental University Atlanta campus.
Washington Monthly rates schools based on their contributions to the public good in social mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), research (producing cutting-edge scholarships and Ph.D.s) and service (encouraging students to give something back to their country). The “Best Bang for the Buck” rankings are exclusive lists of schools that help nonwealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices, including universities from the North, Northeast, Midwest, South and Southeast.
“Brenau University is among the institutions that are doing the best job of helping students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices,” said Washington Monthly Editor in Chief Paul Glastris. “As students consider Brenau, they can be confident that the institution is committed to serving them – and the nation – well.”
