Notification from Payroll about Half-Day Fridays

There has been some confusion regarding the calculation of half-day Fridays when submitting hours to the payroll office.

To clarify, if an employee has taken sick or vacation time on a half-day Friday and does not come in to work at all, they are charged four hours of sick or vacation time (regardless of status or position type).
