From historic preservation to innovative classroom management, thesis presentations by Interior Design MFA students provide research relevant across many disciplines. On Tuesday, June 14, Johnnifer Patrice Brown of Atlanta will present her research on African-American communities in the rural South and the “built environment” at 10:30 am and Heidi Plumb of West Valley, Utah, will present her research on gamification in the Interior Design curriculum at 1:30 pm. Both defenses take place in room 104 at the North Atlanta campus in Norcross.
“The MFA students receive instruction from faculty in the Health Sciences, Education, Business, and of course, Fine Arts & Humanities,” said Interior Design Chair and Professor Lynn M. Jones. “This is evident in their topic selections. We wanted to invite the Brenau community to see these amazing results.”
