The Brenau University Jacksonville campus hosts a special speaker series throughout the summer, featuring community leaders discussing some of the most significant issues impacting the city.
The series begins June 15 with An Introduction to Project Management, led by Ret. U.S. Navy Program Analyst for Strategic Systems Programs Don Cross. Downtown Vision, Inc. CEO Jacob A. Gordon hosts a talk titled The Unlimited Potential of Downtown Jacksonville July 13. Director of Community Affairs for the City of Jacksonville Charles Moreland is the guest speaker for Leadership: With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility Aug. 17. The series wraps up with Insurance Fraud – Threat or Opportunity? On Sept. 21, a panel discussion led by George Mann of State Farm.
Each hour-long presentation begins at 6 p.m. There will be networking opportunities a half hour before each discussion.
