Please join the staff of Office of Communications & Publications in a proper send-off for Christie Gregory, who is “retiring” as design director after nine years at Brenau. Although she will stop punching in on the ol’ Walters House time clock officially at the end of next week, she still plans a full work load pursuing her painting and other outlets for her remarkable creative gifts, volunteering in causes and activities that are important to her, and traveling with her husband Bob.

An outstanding graphic design talent, Christie has made an enormous impact on the way Brenau tells its story and how the world sees Brenau – from the dramatic “four portals of learning” banners that adorn the face of Brenau Downtown Center to award-winning Brenau Window magazine and other publications, to tasteful applications of images from the university’s permanent collection of art.

We’ll gather for wine, cheese and other refreshments on the front porch of Walters House, 305 Boulevard in Gainesville at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24.
