OnGeorgia Puts Spotlight on The Wisdom Project

OnGeorgia, an online publication from Southern Company, recently profiled Center for Lifetime Study Executive Director Kathy Amos in a feature story about The Wisdom Project.

Launched in 2012, the joint project between Brenau and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce received national attention earlier this year when the program was featured in The Wall Street Journal.

More than 100 retirees have gone through the seven-session program, which is designed to get seniors more involved in local issues.

“The program provides our graduate with an avenue to use their wisdom and expertise for the benefit of their community,” Amos is quoted by OnGeorgia.
