Brenau Spectrum Winds Brings ‘Fiesta’ to Campus April 5

Audiences will get a taste of the most festive and flavorful folk music from around the world on April 5, as the Brenau Spectrum Winds ensemble hosts ‘Fiesta’ at Pearce Auditorium.

The concert’s featured musician will be acclaimed trumpeter Cecil Welch, who has performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and worked alongside Oscar-winning composer Henry Mancini for nearly two decades.

Highlights from the upcoming concert include Welch’s rendition of La Virgen de la Macarena and other performers covering several selections from the beloved Broadway musical Les Misérables.
