For the second time this year, Brenau University is featured in the nation’s most widely circulated newspaper.
The Wisdom Keepers, a joint project launched by the Center for Lifetime Study at Brenau University and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, is profiled in the Monday, March 21 edition of The Wall Street Journal.
In the article, Brenau University Learning and Leisure Executive Director Kathy Amos describes BULLI’s role in the formation of the Wisdom Keepers, an initiative that began in 2012 which encourages retirees to pool together their time, resources and expertise to address various issues in and around Hall County.
“We say ‘you retired but your brain didn’t,'” Amos is quoted in the article. “We want you to use your life skills to create something special in the community.”
