GTA’s ‘The Philadelphia Story’ Stage Tour March 22, Shows April 5-16

PHILLY-Web-BlockA reporter, a photographer and a disarmingly charming ex-husband all arrive just in time to muddy up plans for a carefully orchestrated wedding to a social-climbing bore – what could be more fun? You are invited to the Gainesville Theatre Alliance’s upcoming production of The Philadelphia Story, which runs April 5-16 at the Ed Cabell Theatre in Oakwood.

A free stage tour is planned March 22 at 6 p.m, with a preview performance – which only costs $10 – scheduled April 4 at 7:30 p.m.

There will be a free opening night reception after the first performance on April 5. An insider’s talk back with the director, cast and crew is slated following the April 12 performance.

Tickets are $18-$20 for adults, $16-$18 for seniors and $12-$14 for students, depending on seat location.  Select your own seats online at www.gainesvilleTHEATREalliance.org or by calling the GTA box office at (678) 717-3624 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
