Brenau Senior Jordan Pittman Featured in Engage Magazine

Jordan Pittman, a mass communication major from Wetumpka, Alabama, is featured in the spring 2016 edition of Engage, a publication dedicated to service and social entrepreneurship.

Pittman received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Scholarship last year, which is awarded to students who exhibit character, integrity and a commitment to community service. Now in her senior year at Brenau, Pittman has been in the Servant Leader Scholar program since her freshman year and is both the president of the Gainesville historic campus’ National Pan-Hellenic Council and the chair justice of the university’s Honor Court.

“She is a quiet leader who pursues positions on campus in order to be of service to others,” reads Pittman’s profile in Engage, “rather than to receive accolades for herself.”
