Juggling work, family, friends and other personal responsibilities can sometimes be overwhelming. On March 15, Maria Zayas of Brenau’s Psychology Department will lead a special workshop showing staff and faculty coping strategies to help reduce some of those daily stressors.
Zayas, a licensed psychologist well versed in yoga and meditation, will discuss the mental and physical effects of anxiety and demonstrate a few simple meditation techniques that can help alleviate pressure and tension.
The event is Tuesday, March 15, at the Thurmond McRae Lecture Hall from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Healthy snacks will be provided.
