Brenau Alumna Dulcé Sloan Performs on ‘Conan’

Dulcé Sloan, WC ’05, certainly put on a sweet stand-up routine Feb. 8. The Stone Mountain, Georgia, native had a rollicking five-minute set – complete with stories about restaurant shouting matches and encountering unwanted suitors at grocery stores – on the long-running, late-night TBS talk show Conan.

The Team Coco performance gave the Brenau alumna her largest national exposure to date. Sloan, who has been touring for six years, was named a StandUp NBC finalist last year. She also came in second place in the 2015 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta and was named one of the New Faces of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Her TV credits include appearances on FOX NFL Sunday and the ABC program Resurrection.
