Open Enrollment Information for 2016

If you were not able to attend the open enrollment insurance session at the benefits expo, please carefully review the materials below. A link to a recording of the meetings will also be sent out via Update once available from IT.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Each 3/4-time and full-time employee will be required to log in to our enrollment system, Selerix, to either enroll in OR opt-out of each offered benefit. It is also important to check your personal information as it appears in the system, update beneficiaries and add or delete dependents, if applicable.

If you do not log into the system, your coverage will remain the same for 2016 and you will be unable to make changes until the next open enrollment period in Nov. 2016. Flexible spending accounts will not automatically renew, so if you plan on making changes to your plan you must actively enroll in your account. The process, however, is very simple and takes less than 10 minutes. Login instructions are available on Selerix.

DEADLINE:
All benefit elections must be made through Selerix before Nov. 23.

BENEFITS EFFECTIVE DATE:
Jan. 1, 2016

PREMIUM EFFECTIVE DATES: 
Premium increases will be effective on your first payroll of 2016 for all insurance, if elected.

ID CARDS:

Medical:  If you chose to enroll in the medical plan, you should receive an insurance card at your home address before Dec. 31. Each covered member will receive their own individual card with their name on it.

Dental: If you chose to enroll in the dental plan, you should receive an insurance card at your home address before Dec. 31. Each covered member will receive their own individual card with their name on it.

Vision: If you chose to enroll in the vision plan, you should receive an insurance card at your home address before Dec. 31. Cigna does family cards, so if you have more than one person enrolled, you will receive two cards with your name on it. More cards can be made by printing off the website www.mycigna.com.

DEDUCTIBLE CARRYOVER:
There is no deductible carryover.

PRE-ENROLLMENT HOTLINE:
Cigna enrollment specialists can advise you on specific plans and provide a general overview of Cigna products and resources at 1-800-564-7642. Enrollment, however, cannot be completed through the line.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING:
If you are currently enrolled in the flexible spending plan with Admin America and you wish to continue for next year, please keep your debit cards as they will be used for the upcoming plan year as well. This benefit will not automatically renew, so you must actively enroll for 2016.

SELERIX ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Go to http://www.benselect.com/enroll/login.

  • Enter your Social Security Number (without dashes) and PIN to access the site.
  • Your login is your Social Security Number without dashes (example: 123456789.)
  • Your PIN is the last four digits of your SSN plus the last two digits of your birth year (example: for John Doe 123-45-6789, DOB 01/01/1975, the PIN would be 678975.)
  • Before you begin the process, you may want to have a spouse or dependent SSN and date of birth available.
