Lori Gann-Smith, curator of the Brenau University Historic Clothing Collection, will lead a free textile conservation workshop on Saturday, Oct. 24.
During the workshop, Gann-Smith will show off some techniques to help preserve your family’s heirlooms. The event, which is open to the public, will take place at the Simmons Visual Arts Center in the Presidents Gallery from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
