Larry Andrews, former biology professor and retired Brenau vice president of administrative services, graduated from the intensive care unit at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville to a regular room and is now able to receive visits and calls.
“He is feeling much better than yesterday and kidney function has stopped declining,” said his son, Chip Andrews, Brenau vice president for information technology. “Many of you have asked if you can visit, so I think short visits would be OK at this point.”
Appropriately, Chip reports, his father’s room at the hospital has a view of Brenau University’s gym and fitness center. It gives him something to look at that he loves and to which he dedicated most of his working career.
Andrews is in room 1100 of the south tower at NEGA Medical Center. Visitation hours are from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
