Brenau staff and faculty can chow down on chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and Ice Dream cones – all while supporting occupational therapy students – on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The Brenau Occupational Therapy Student Association hosts a special “spirit night” at the Chick-fil-A at 805 Dawsonville Highway NW in Gainesville from 5 to 8 p.m. A portion of the night’s sales will benefit students, who are looking to raise funds to pay for a trip to a national occupational therapy conference in Chicago next year.
Tiffany Wilson, office manager for the School of Occupational Therapy, said the event provides important networking and educational opportunities.
“The national conference provides our students with the tools to influence and pursue action that will strengthen their practice and better meet society’s needs,” she said.
