Across campus, classrooms receive technology upgrades

Over the summer, the IT department has been busy upgrading equipment in several classroom spaces. Here is a quick rundown of some of the new additions across the Gainesville campuses:

  • In the Academy Building, half a dozen rooms have new white boards. The installations are in rooms 101, 103, 201, 202, 203 and 204.
  • In the Science Building, rooms 12 and 13 have new 8-foot screens as well as new speakers.
  • In the Owens Student Center, new screens have been installed in rooms 202 and 204.
  • In  the Jacobs Building, there are new projectors in rooms 201 and 208.
  • In the Redwine Technology Center there are four new projectors. The equipment has been installed in rooms 102, 106, 107 and 108.
  • Over on the East Campus, the Whalen Auditorium has new 12-foot screens and laptop hookups. Two nursing classrooms, 130 and 133, have new clickers installed.
