Please join special invited guest Lt. Governor Casey Cagle along with leaders from Brenau University, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Affordable Equity Partners and civic officials for the ribbon cutting of Myrtle Terraces on Friday, May 1, at 11 a.m. at 1326 Myrtle Street SE in Gainesville, adjacent to the Guilford Clinic and within ½ mile from the Northeast Georgia Health Systems.
Since Myrtle Terraces opened earlier this year Brenau students and faculty in Nursing, PT, Psychology and OT have worked with the staff of Myrtle Terraces and the B. J. Searles Foundation to provide health promotion events, resources for the residents, a health fair and health screenings. The collaboration with Myrtle Terrace has also allowed students to complete level one fieldwork.
