We are happy to announce that long time employee Danielle Miller, has accepted a re-assignment of duties and will become the director of event services. She will officially start new duties on June 1, but will begin working with the summer camps while continuing to serve in her current capacity as multimedia programs manager in the Office of Communications & Publications. In June, Danielle will re-locate to the Brenau Downtown Center and work closely with Vicki Wineland, newly designated director of event marketing, and Jeannie Carpenter, events assistant, in the Events Department supervised by Lorene Pharr. Brian Massey will continue to work with and report to Facilities but will also be allied with Events as the logistics specialist.
It is our hope that in bringing this group together we will develop a more streamlined and efficient approach to serving the internal event needs of the university across all campuses, as well as the needs of external clients hosting events in our facilities.
