The keynote speaker is Marissa Kraxberger, Vice President of Creative with Ivanka Trump, where she leads the Women Who Work initiative. Formerly VP with Kate Spade New York, Oscar de la Renta, and Diane Von Furstenberg, Marissa has extensive experience in the fashion industry in the areas of design and executive leadership. Also featured is a powerhouse lineup of dynamic women who will share insights gleaned from their backgrounds in law, media, philanthropy, management, and higher education. Speakers include attorney Kris Orr Brown; Carrie Conway, Program Director with the Woodruff Foundation; Lindsey Nelson, VP of Talent Development with CareerBuilder; Trustee Anna Jacobs, WC ’86; Valerie Simmons-Walston, Dean of Students; Tracy Rhodes, WC ’02, Managing Partner of Evans & Rhodes, LLC, and Ashley Lee, WC ’14, Graduate Assistant in Public Policy, Columbus State University. Student leaders M.K. Jabbia and Byronica Banks will also speak. President Schrader will open the session with a message of welcome.
