Annual Fire Alarm Testing Begins Thursday, July 31

Brenau is committed to providing the safest environment possible for our students, faculty, staff and visitors. As a part of this commitment, Brenau Facilities performs annual fire protection systems tests to ensure that the systems work as designed.

Beginning Thursday, July 31, this year’s tests begin. Facilities staff members will make every effort to alert all building managers before tests begin. These tests include sounding the fire alarms. No evacuation will be required.

If you have not been notified that fire alarm testing is taking place in your building and the fire alarm activates, please evacuate the building. Always choose safety over convenience.
